Terms & Conditions

The terms governing use of the Baitwall dashboard, API, and Google Workspace add-on — including what the AI output is and is not.

Last updated · 7 August 2026

01

Agreement to these terms

These Terms & Conditions form a binding agreement between Jonibek Norboev, operating as a sole proprietor (“Baitwall”, “we”) and the organization whose administrator creates a workspace (“Customer”, “you”). By creating a workspace, deploying the add-on, or calling the API, you accept them.

If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorised to bind it. If you are not, do not create a workspace.

02

What the service does

Baitwall consists of three parts:

  • A Google Workspace add-on that scores the message an employee has open and offers a one-press report action.
  • An API that receives messages, scores them using a third-party AI model, stores the resulting metadata, and emails your security team.
  • A dashboard where your security team reviews reports, filters them, and sets a workflow status.

We may change, add, or remove features. We will not remove a materially important capability without reasonable notice to workspace administrators.

03

Accounts and administrators

  • You must give accurate registration details and keep the security contact address current — it is where alerts are delivered.
  • You are responsible for everything done under your administrator accounts, and for keeping credentials confidential.
  • Administrators can see every report filed by every employee in the workspace, including the sender, subject line, and AI summary of reported messages. Deploy accordingly.
  • Tell us promptly at security@baitwall.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
04

Your responsibilities when deploying

This one matters. Baitwall reads employee email. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to deploy it, for telling your employees that it is running and what it does, and for meeting any works-council, consultation, or notice obligations that apply where you operate. We cannot assess this for you.

You agree that:

  • You have authority to install the add-on across the mailboxes you deploy it to.
  • You will inform employees that reported messages are analyzed and that the metadata is retained and visible to your security team.
  • You will not deploy Baitwall to monitor individuals for purposes unrelated to email security.
  • You act as data controller for employee data; we act as processor. Our Privacy Policy sets out the detail.
05

Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Submit content you have no right to submit, or use the service to process data unlawfully.
  • Attempt to access another organization’s workspace, reports, or API key.
  • Probe, scan, or stress-test the service without our written permission, or circumvent authentication or rate controls.
  • Resell, sublicense, or expose the API to third parties as your own product without a written agreement.
  • Use the service to build a competing product, or to benchmark it for publication, without our consent.
  • Submit deliberately malicious payloads intended to compromise our systems or the AI provider.
06

API keys and usage

Each workspace is issued an API key, sent as the x-api-key header. Anyone holding that key can submit messages and consume analysis against your workspace, so treat it as a secret.

  • You are responsible for all usage under your key, including usage by anyone who obtains it through your act or omission.
  • Rotate it from Settings if you suspect exposure. The previous key stops working immediately, and the add-on must be updated with the new one.
  • We may apply rate limits or suspend a key that is generating abnormal volume, to protect the service and other customers.
07

AI analysis and its limits

Baitwall produces probabilistic output, not fact. Scores and categories come from an AI model. It will sometimes rate a legitimate message as dangerous, and it will sometimes miss a real attack. Treat the verdict as one input to a human decision, never as the decision itself.

  • We do not warrant that any score, category, indicator, or summary is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.
  • Baitwall is not a substitute for a security program, mail filtering, endpoint protection, or employee training.
  • You are solely responsible for decisions taken in reliance on the output, including any decision affecting an individual.
  • AI providers may change model behaviour without notice, and results may vary between runs on the same input.
08

Availability

We aim to keep the service running, but we do not currently commit to a service level. Downtime may occur for maintenance, provider outages, or faults. The service depends on Google Workspace, the configured AI provider, and our email provider; an outage at any of them can interrupt Baitwall.

If a written service level agreement is in place between us, it takes precedence over this section.

09

Fees

Workspaces are currently issued on the freeplan at no charge, during Baitwall’s early access period. No payment processor is connected yet, and nothing can be charged to you today. When paid plans launch, the intended price is $5 per employee per month for a workspace with the add-on installed. We will give existing customers at least 30 days’ notice before any charge applies to their workspace, and you may decline by closing your workspace before the charge takes effect.

Once payment is enabled, fees will be stated exclusive of tax, billed monthly in advance, and charged to the payment method on file through our payment processor.

10

Intellectual property

We own the service, its software, and its branding. You own your data. Nothing here transfers ownership either way.

You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to operate and support the service. We do not use your data to train AI models, and our providers are engaged on terms that do not permit training on API inputs.

If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve the service without obligation to you.

11

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will detect every threat. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data, however caused.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the greater of 50% of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100.

In particular, and without limiting the above, we are not liable for loss arising from a phishing message Baitwall failed to flag, or from action taken against a legitimate message it flagged in error.

13

Indemnity

You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, your deployment of the add-on without adequate authority or employee notice, or your infringement of a third party’s rights.

14

Term and termination

  • These terms apply from workspace creation until terminated.
  • You may stop at any time by uninstalling the add-on and asking us to delete your workspace.
  • We may suspend or terminate for material breach, for use that threatens the service or other customers, or if required by law. Where practical we will give notice and a chance to remedy.
  • On termination, your access ends and your workspace data is deleted in line with the retention section of the Privacy Policy. Export anything you need first.
15

Changes, governing law, and contact

We may amend these terms; the date at the top will change and administrators will be notified by email of material amendments. Continuing to use the service after they take effect means you accept them.

These terms are governed by the laws of Uzbekistan, and the courts of Tashkent, Uzbekistan have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or data protection rights available to you locally.

If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest stands. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us on this subject, unless a signed agreement says otherwise.
